Launched in July 2023 at Herald Square, the Samsung Galaxy Open Market was a high-energy "lifestyle mart" designed to debut the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5. Moving away from traditional retail, the space utilized a vibrant layout where visitors navigated themed aisles designed for lifestyle storytelling. These included FlexCam sets for hands-free selfies, a Productivity Café for S Pen multitasking, and a high-performance Gaming Station.

The space also featured a Wellness Den for Galaxy Watch6 health tracking and a Customization Station for personalized device accessories. Beyond the tech, the market functioned as a cultural hub, hosting K-Pop meet-and-greets, a flagship performance by Eric Nam, and wellness town halls. The entire journey was gamified via the Galaxy Experience App, which allowed guests to "shop" the space through NFC interactions to earn exclusive rewards.
